Message In A Bottle...

It's hard to believe that 5 years ago this week I met J while backpacking through Europe. Between the two of us we have no idea the exact day we met, as time seems to stand still when you are on a crazy misadventure.  Shortly after I moved to Australia I made this gift for him - a bottle filled with hundreds of memories, messages and dreams for our future.  It took hours to fill out all the tiny bits of paper but as I sit through and re-read them today, I'm so grateful for that fateful encounter in Prague. I love you J. xx

p.s - no mention of my European adventure would be complete with a shout out to my soul sister and Santorini sunset chaser, Anna, who made it all possible...

Oh isn't that lovely, and what a sweet bottle full of love messages. I met my now husband on an overseas adventure as well. And we are both from Melbourne, so I flew to the other side of the world to meet a boy from my hometown!

We can't remember the date we met either. We met on the great ocean rd, and happened to both be from melbourne which was nice and convenient! I love the bottle of messages idea, very romantic!
