February means one thing - trade fair madness.
For the past few weeks, I've been in frantic planning mode getting ready for this past weekend's Life Instyle trade show. As usual the days were long and my feet were sore but the end result was all worth it. The crowds came out and the products on display were nothing short of incredible. Now it's finally time to celebrate...

you & me
I suppose that's why this year's Valentine's Day was so enjoyable, it was filled with all the simple yet wonderful things that I love: wine, cheese, chocolate, a bit of unexpected sunshine, my man, a beautiful night and some flowers thrown in for good measure. What more could you want?

real estate wars
Lately, we've been talking about buying a house. Like a real, grown up house.
I suppose by 'talking', I mean that we're having lots of conversations and browsing at houses that are WAY out of our price range. Way, way out. This unfortunate reality comes crashing down rather quickly and the house buying chatter seems to abruptly come to a close and I go back to complaining about the ugly blue carpet in our unit and the ridiculous layout of our kitchen.
So what's a girl to do if she can't buy her dream home just yet? How about spend every weekend window shopping for the dream house she can't yet afford - bingo! For the past 2 weekends I've been a garage sale junkie, on the hunt for my next fix. Rozelle Markets, Megan Morton's Stylist's Garage Sale - no place is safe and don't even get me started on Michell Road Auction house, I've turned that place upside down...it's a gold mine, like stepping into my grandmother's attic, except this time it's filled with pristine Parker furniture.
So if you've wondered why I haven't been blogging, it's because I've been lusting after Parker furniture that I can't afford, for a house I don't yet own. Ah the joys of Sydney real estate.

one fine day
I met Jess when I first started blogging, have watched as her wedding styling business took off and to say I was impressed at what her and her partners pulled off is an understatement. Engaged or not, this is a show you just have to check out - every detail is stunning, every bouquet of flowers more beautiful than the next. I even got to finally meet Liv, (yes, another blogging friend) in person. It's a small (blogging) world...
