The weather report was wrong (again) and instead of showers we got sunshine for most of the weekend. I was expecting to be stuck inside so this beautiful weather was a pleasant surprise and we took full advantage. I managed to squeeze in a swim before J and I went for lunch in Manly, checked out the local market, bookstore and even ended the day with a picnic by the water. weekend perfection.

I love it when they are wrong, and the sun is shining! I am forever on weatherzone checking the weather the night before. I know I am a little obsessed, but I need to know if I am running, or not running. The weekend was delightful. I had a walk with the little people right where you had your picnic, and they had a play on the beach.

This is pretty much exactly how I would have spent my weekend...if I hadn't had to work!
