It was a good week, an especially good week.
After last weekend's whirlwind of band gigs and birthday shenanigans I was ready to slow things down, so that's exactly what I did. We enjoyed after work drinks and a date night just the two of us, a Saturday morning trip to the Eveleigh Farmers Market, an afternoon craft session and lots of couch time catching up on blog homework and magazine reading. Life in the slow lane is more my speed.
Here are some of the highlights from my wonderfully chaotic week:
- So pleased my blog photography workshop had a good response - there are still a few seats left!
- As expected my BYW Blogging Bootcamp e-course is keeping me busy and filled with inspiration
- I'm loving late night band gigs and seeing the boys enjoying their time in the spotlight
- The girls from The Fetch impressed at this month's Social Media Women's meet-up

Hi Jaclyn, greetings from London:) Love your photography. Sounds like you've had a fun week and congratulations on your photo workshop sell out. If I was in Sydney, I would most definitely have loved to attend too. Have a great weekend x
Hi Jaclyn, This is Sarah from BYW, I love your photo of the pretty flowers. I paint flowers would love to paint those!
Hmm...fast lane or slow lane. Well, I have a six year old daughter so weekends aren't really ever slow lane! But it was more lowkey than usual - we didn't go out in the evenings.
Let's see - Friday night dinner, soccer, decorating the inside and outside of the house for Halloween. Working with the girl on her Halloween costume. Reading and a little crocheting.
Let's call it slow lane...
Love the beautiful photo of the veggies and the poppies. Exciting about your workshop! Congrats! (liz from BYW)

Oh I much prefer life in the slow lane too! Do you know I live an hour from Sydney and I still haven't been to Eveleigh market! I guess that's what children do... And this blogging course is keeping me just as busy! Wish there was more time to get to know everyone! Vanessa from BYW
