One of the best things about the chaotic pace of the past few months has been the people that have come into my life. New, extraordinary, talented, interesting people that I've been able to work along side, hang out with and luckily now call friends. As you get older the idea of meeting new people can often seem strange, an uncomfortable step outside your comfort zone but I actually enjoy it. I've found that really great things can happen when you just say yes and people that are meant to be in your life just seem to walk right in. I've made a point recently to try and collaborate with new people to widen that circle, expand views, acquire new skills and get a bit more comfortable with sitting outside the comfort zone. So far it has been a crazy and rewarding journey and as I get ready for next weekend's Melbourne Kinfolk Honey Harvest event I'm embracing the unknown and if I'm honest it feels kind of awesome. Here's to being confident in the uncomfortable...
