Turning 30 is a big deal. Some love it and others hate it. I loved turning 30. I loved the idea of stepping into a new chapter and saying goodbye to the old me. It was a chance to learn about myself and I had all these crazy ideas that turning 30 meant you were given the key to some sophisticated, confident, successful bubble. In the end turning 30 made me realise that age is just a number and now is a better time than ever to embrace change, challenge yourself and live in the present.

I loved it too. even approaching the mid 30s I am still loving it. happy birthday to your middle sis, Mel. Pop open the champagne.
You have such an awesome outlook my dear, I freaked a bit when I turned 20, then 25 (closer to 30 than 20, eeeek!) but i'm not so bothered about turning 30. Like you say, i think i've realised it's just a number and ultimately it doesn't matter at all as long as you're doing what you love. Happy Birthday to Mel - Definitely pop open that champagne! xx
ah...sistahs.
welcome to thirty mel...your going to love it.
Thirties rock. I always thought they would and I was right. Happy birthday to your sis! Such a gorgeous pic. x
I agree, thirty's been good so far, no complaints!

Happy Birthday middle sis! 30 is awesome. So much cooler than any other decade. I wonder if I might still be saying that when I'm turning 90? Hmmm well until then, embrace embrace embrace!!!
What a great attitude! I've got two more months til 30...now I'm actually looking forward to it!
One of my girlfriend wrote on my 30th bday card that turning 30 is actually the best part of being 29, I loved it !

i turn 30 next year and i am already dreading it. i like the idea of being 30, just not the fact that it's half way to 60.

I was so relieved when I turned 30. My 20's were a little, well, chaotic.
Happy Birthday to your sister! I think I'll drink some champagne for her as well ;)

Hope your sister has a fabulous birthday Jaclyn! Milestone birthdays always deserve a nice big celebration. Wish I felt the same about the third decade - I still live in denial of being (almost) into the mid thirties... ;)
I loved 30, too. It is the best!! Happy Birthday to your Sis!!
xoxo,
Carrie
My husband turned 40 on the weekend without a whimper. I think he was actually looking forward to the new decade.
I love being in my 30's. So much easier/better/interesting than my 20's or... god forbid my teens.
