inside out & iscd colour workshop

It's ironic given the lack of colour in my wardrobe, that I find myself drawn to classes and workshops bursting with it. Maybe the universe is telling me something or perhaps I just can't resist the allure of a glue stick and a glass of champagne?  Such was the case at this past Tuesday's event hosted by Inside Out magazine and ISCD (International School of Colour & Design).

Any night were I can eat delicious food, whip out a colour swatch and meet some interesting and talented people is a winner in my book. This night did not disappoint. Of course in true Jaclyn style, despite being surrounded by a sea of colour, I was still dressed in head to toe black. One step at a time...

Hi Jaclyn,
thank you so much for stopping by at my blog and leaving a comment - I feel so honoured to be on your list! I´ve actually discovered your blog right in the beginning of the class and keep coming back for a glimpse into your world (I think I already left a comment 2 weeks ago!) I´m still at the very beginning of my blogging journey and feel like I can learn a lot from you!

Oh that looks like so much fun! I laughed though, at your, head-to-toe in black. That's soooo me! I'm a black clothes fanatic though too:)

Ease into it with giant, colorful jewelry and insanely colored handbags, maybe? My current purse is neon yellow -- a color I will not and have not worn since the 80s -- but is wonderful as an accessory.

Ha, love the idea of glue sticks and champagne...now I know what I was doing wrong when I created my mood board! :-) And I LOVE the fact that you were all in black. Well, of course!

Am also hooked on this brilliant combination of glue stick and champagne. Now why didn't I think of that sooner.

Hi - thanks for stopping by my blog.

this event looks like a lot of fun. I don't dress with much colour (unless breton striped tops count as colour?) but I do love pops of it in my home.

I love that montage of flower images, very inspiring.

Looks like so much fun and great pictures. In Hawaii I take quite a few classes at an arts center called the Hui and I always feel so inspired and meet many great people.

I'm the same too. I wear lots of white, black and grey but am very drawn to colors in the home, colorful art/design and projects with lots of color.
