megan morton book launch: things i love

In my next lifetime I want to come back as a stylist.

No, actually scratch that, in my next lifetime I want to come back as Megan Morton.

Last night I headed to The School with Tea and Flyn to celebrate the perfectly styled launch of her new book, Things I Love. Not only did I get to see some familiar faces but there just so happened to be large quantities of confetti, Logan Wine Rose (my fav), an instagram wall and a pineapple pinata - what more could you want?

So it's official, my girl crush on MM has been taken to new heights and pretty I'm sure the entire room last night felt the same thing. The woman is a force to be reckoned with. Not only does talent drip from everything she touches but her warm personality and ability to immediately connect with people is a skill few people possess and even fewer can master. The woman is unstoppable and I was glad to be there to witness her moment in the spotlight - well done MM.

Nice one Jaclyn! I feel the same way as you! MM is a star. And so generous with her knowledge. An inspiration really.... Sorry I missed you on Thursday, was so disappointed not to make it to the launch. Will see you soon (possibly with babe in arms!) xxjess

Oh I'm so jealous that you were able to go to such a beautiful event. I hadn't heard of Megan before (I am in the USA), but now that I've researched her I must have all her books! :-) Of course I can only pre-order her new book from the UK (not available until April), but I'm glad you showed me a little "sneak peek" and what style of a party she throws. Beautiful! :-)

Hi Jaclyn! The party looked like so much fun. I love the theme of Megan's book, especially one of the quotes from the page you highlighted "Never covet your neighbor's house (unless he's Christian Liaigre). Houses are only of value when the people inside them are."

I love what you have captured. When I first read you want to come back in the next life as a stylist, I thought that you could totally pull that off in your current life. Then you said you want to come back as MM. That's sweet to say! She seems like a super talented person.
