There are some houses you just wish you never knew existed. Sure they can exist in magazine pages or Hollywood movies but not right around the corner from where you live. It's these type of houses that make you depressed about your own rental, crappy blue carpet and lack of vine covered brick walls. These houses are just too perfect to live in and when you walk right into one, perfectly decorated by my blog hero and all around clever lady, Lucy Feagins, you can't help but be struck with a serious case of house envy.
So truth be told, I've been experiencing house envy ever since leaving the The Design Files Open House this weekend. I had been chatting with Lucy and her team for the past few months about some exciting Blog Society plans that unfortunately didn't get to pan out this year but was able to check it out last Wednesday for the launch event and had to revisit over the weekend to get my interiors fix.
To make a long story short, Lucy and her team clear out an entire house and create a weekend long retail pop up where everything they put back into the house is for sale. It's a pretty amazing concept and this was the first year she took the idea to Sydney. I'd say it was a smashing success. She's a clever gal that Lucy - go on and have a look at my post on the Blog Society blog for more pics and information. Don't say I didn't warn you about house envy...

I do agree with you Jaclyn, I always feel the same thing every time I visit a showroom about house design. I am always itching to apply it on highline residences condo guess I have to run all the creative juices I have in my mind.
