Can someone please tell me where the first half of December went? I know I say this every year but I can’t believe Christmas is only 2 weeks away...how did this happen?
For so many months we’ve been planning and saving for our upcoming Bali trip and I can’t believe that I’ll be on a plane this Saturday (yeah!) Maybe it’s because this year is extremely non-traditional that it seems to be going by so quickly but even this weekend was over in a flash. From Thursday on it was a blur of relaxing days at the beach, company Christmas parties that got a bit too merry, Christmas lunches with the family, catching up with friends and simply enjoying the absolutely stunning weather that has finally arrived.
On a side note, the title of this post has nothing to do with the weather but instead is dedicated to my new drink of choice - the beautiful combination of rum and ginger beer that makes up a dark and stormy (and will be consumed beach side in Bali, in large quantity).

Ah yes. The work Christmas party. Mine was Friday night. Was a little too Merry too...
Love the sound of a dark and stormy.... YUM!
Eeeek Bali time is nearly here. Seriously exciting. Our Christmas party is on Friday, but after a very messy one last year (and a very large hangover) I'm steering clear of such cocktails this year. xx
ps. love that first picture. It makes me jealous! xx
Love the pictures, and so envious about Bali! Oooh, it sounds absolutely wonderful!
Hope you have a nice week!!!
Bali? Wow! Have tones of fun.

Oh I hope time goes extra slow while you are there. Sounds like so much fun!
I am obsessed with this string of pictures. Miss you!!
That drink sounds very delicious, I will be trying it for sure! Have a great trip to Bali!
Oh my word. It's in the single digits here in the Midwest! Soak it up for those of us foolish enough to live in these climes.
Of course, Bali! I remember when you first mentioned it. That's pretty cool I must say and I bet you will forget all about snow when you're sitting on the beach sipping a margarita :)
That top pic is just fantastic!!! I am off to Bali in Jan (no hubbie or kids - just me) and I cant wait. I cant even imagine how excited you must be with it only being 2 more sleeps - YAY!!
OMG I can't believe your Bali trip is coming up ! you're one lucky chica, I hope you have a ton of fun... I'm planning on going there one day (ONE DAY) after seeing 'eat, prey, love' on comcast the other night ! Looks sooo beautiful there... xxx
