Now as a Boston girl there isn't anything that conjures up memories of summer than re-creating an iced coffee from Dunkin Donuts and yes I'm fully aware that most Australian recoil in horror as I talk about drip coffee in such high regard. I admit that coffee here is far superior but as I sipped my french vanilla brew (skipping the ice for now) and read a few chapters of 'Cold Mountain' I couldn't think of a better way to pass my Sunday. After countless cups of jo I was buzzing with energy and did a full spring clean of our place, much needed after our holiday, and flipped through some old issues of Real Living. Am I the only one that hoards old copies of magazines and never tires of looking back through them? Anyway as I sit here and type I'm finally catching a glimpse of 'Alice In Wonderland' and devouring this recipe from the amazing blog, What Katie Ate. Hope your Sunday was just as wonderful...

Hi Jaclyn! Good luck right back at ya for your health kick! We'll have to keep each other on the straight and narrow...i'll need the help to keep away from the chocolate and on the cross trainer ;)
I'm so pleased you found my blog, and i've now found yours - your pictures are lovely and I'm kinda jealous of the snuggling those of you in aussie are doing right now - it's meant to be summer here atm, but is more rainy than anything so I just want the autumn to arrive already!
It's awesome to chat to another blog newbie xx
ps. Rummey Bears in a seriously cute blog, right?!
hey jaclyn! that sounds like the perfect sunday. it's just 9 am on sunday here in texas so i have the whole day ahead of me! :))
have a great week!
that sounds pretty lovely-- i too love dunkin donuts-- and we have pleeeenty of them in our area, don't we? (i live north of boston!)
I LOVE 1984! That mug is amaing!!! Also I have always wanted to read cold mountain. And don't worry, lots of people hoard their magazines!
thanks so much for stopping by my blog!
looking forward to getting to "know" you. :)
Oh yes, love the Sunday sleep in. Since having the littles though, my sleep in is usually over by 630am!!! Love your mug, it's amazing!
I can totally relate - I have Real Livings lying all over the house (where to store? that's the problem!) and often what I'll do is re-read old issues because it makes me feel like I'm rediscovering the mag all over again!
I'm a blog newbie too and am glad we have crossed paths :)
so great to see you blogging - looks great!!!
im glad you got in touch...i forgot your name!
i love Sunday morning too but no sleep in for me as my little ones wake up SO early!!
Lovely blog here! Living abroad as well?
Hi Jaclyn.
Sunday mornings in bed are a favourite pastime. I say pastime, as the little man doesn't allow such indulgences these days.
I too collect magazines & read back issues. My stash includes notebook, insideout & country style. I figure for all the money I've spent on them, they should keep giving.
Thanks for finding my blog, I'm happy to have found yours.
Good luck with your dress. Make sure you show us when it is complete. I'm too scared to sew clothes yet, so I'll live vicariously through you for now.
Phew, that was a long comment now, wasn't it! Sorry for waffling, ha ha.
Have a great week!
Hey there just stopping by ,I'm one of your Blogging Your Way buddies. What a great little blog you have here...just snippets of life here and there. Ohh and hey you are not the only magazine hoarder...I have way too much storage in my house and I save them all ;-)
